Training cycle for users of the Energy Management Information System (EMIS) in public buildings in competence of local self-government units continued.

On Thursday, October 10 on the premises of the Mechanical Engineering School "14 October” trainings were held for 4 groups, totalling 45 trainees from public buildings in competence of the City of Kraljevo. The trainees have been trained to enter data on energy and water consumption and costs into EMIS. After completing the training, the trainees will be able to use EMIS by themselves but under the supervision of the municipality's energy manager and enter data on their buildings. Participants will also have access to various analytical tools and predefined reports.

On Wednesday, 16 October, a training was held for another group of nine students from Uzice. So far, 37 EMIS end users have been trained in Uzice. Trainings in Uzice have been carried out in cooperation with the Municipal Energy Efficiency and Management Project funded by the Swiss agency SECO.

Training was delivered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) experts with the help of local energy managers.

So far, 1004 trainees have received the training for EMIS end-users.
