A two training courses have been delivered in Sremska Mitrovica to users of Energy Management Information System (EMIS) in public buildings in competence of local self-governments in Srem District (Sremska Mitrovica, Ruma, Šid, Stara Pazova, Irig i Pećinci).
The first training course was held on 11 January 2018, in the framework of regular meeting of the Inter-municipal working group for energy efficiency and renewable energy. The training was also attended by the future energy managers from the local municipalities in Srem which, according to the Law on Efficient Use of Energy fall under designated municipalities to Energy Management System (Sremska Mitrovica, Ruma, Šid, Stara Pazova). During the training, participants received information about the Energy Management System (establishment, subjects of the system, designated entities, organizational structure, obligations of designated entities, official training of energy managers and energy auditors, etc.), software packages that are used as an IT support to the system (ISEM and SEM) along with the instructions for use of software tools.
The second training course was delivered on 9 February 2018. Trainees were persons who are, on behalf of budget users of municipalities in Srem District, in charge of collecting and entering data on consumption and costs of energy, energy sources and water in the facilities which they have been assigned for. During the training, forty users from primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, city administrations, public and utility companies, local communities, cultural institutions in the territory of Srem District received training in collecting and entering data into the energy management information system (EMIS). Data entered in the system will be used to monitor energy consumption and costs as well as to help local self-government to produce an annual energy consumption report and to monitor the realization of the energy savings target set on an annual basis by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The training also included practical exercise along with data entry into the system.
